Our first and last summer in Charleston, South Carolina
(Married July 1966)
Linda and I knew it was doubtful if we would ever return to Charleston so we asked Jack Lohman, a buddy from the Lafayette SSBN-616 --- and one who was (and is) a skilled photographer ---  to walk around with us one Sunday in the old city of Charleston and capture  some memories on film.     He did.  This is one of several excellent pictures he took that day.
In the summer of 1967 my boat,  USS Alexander Hamilton SSBN-617, shifted homeport to Groton, CT
